Sitzbank / Seat

Gestern habe ich mal über die ganzen schönen Dinge nachgedacht, die einem so passiert sind, wenn man zu zweit auf dem Moped unterwegs war, also habe ich mich entschlossen mal etwas Neues auszuprobieren. Ich werde den Vorzug eines Zweisitzers mit dem schnittigen Stil einer Einer-Sitzbank kombinieren, indem diese einfach umbaubar wird.
Die Idee kam mir durch den Sitzbankaufbau der neuen Moto Guzzi V11.

Yesterday I thought about all the positive memories connected to bike tours with 2 persons, so I decided to try out something "new". I will combine a seat offering space for two persons which is changeable to a single person's seat. The seat of the new Moto Guzzi V11 served as my inspiration for this build.


Ich habe meinen Bleistift gepackt und mal schnell ein paar Skizzen angefertigt:

 Wie man auf dem Bild erkennen kann, wird die Sitzbank dem Stil der Höckersitzbank nach wie vor folgen. Allerdings wird dieser Höcker zunächst aus GFK gefertigt und ein Stück davon sauber abgetrennt. Dieses Stück macht nun den Unterschied zwischen der Ein- und Zwei-Personen Sitzbank.
Der Bezug wird unter dem orange markierten (vorher abgetrennten) Adapterstück fortgesetzt, welches aufgeschraubt durch einige Blindnietmuttern eine stilvolle 1-Mann Variante ergibt. Die Umsetzung wird natürlich noch etwas schwieriger, allerdings blicke ich diesem Projekt doch recht optimistisch entgegen. Der kurze Höcker der 2-Personen Sitzbank wird nach wie vor genug Platz für die LiFePo4 Batterie und den Rest der Elektronikplatte bieten.


As you can see on the picture, the style of an hump seat will be assumed. Instead of using sheet I will try to manufacture it out of GRP and cut it nearly in the middle. The cut off piece now makes the difference between a single and two person's seat (orange). It will be fastened by flat screws and offers still enough place for the LiFePo4 accumulator, the fuse box and the rest of the smart electronics.
